Riyadh metro 36% complete

The Riyadh metro is 36 per cent complete and is expected to be finalised within a period of two years and a few months, Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar announced.

Prince Faisal, who is also the president of the High Authority for the Development of Riyadh City and chairman of the Higher Committee on the implementation of the King Abdulaziz Project for public transport in Riyadh-train and bus, was present Wednesday to witness the completion of the Green Line tunnel under King Abdulaziz Road, according to Arab News newspaper.

“We have seen the success of the national action which is being carried out under the supervision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman,” he said in statement to the media.
