They are always on hand to assist our diverse range of clients and assignees with their needs in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Their work is especially crucial as it makes such a difference during the delicate onboarding process, enabling individuals and their families to feel more at home in their new environment and ensuring that nothing holds them back in their new role. So, as the last in our Meet the Team series (click here if you missed Immigration or Corporate Services), we got to know the amazing faces behind our relocation division….
Let’s start with Erica Valles, one of the Relocation Team’s Client Account Managers:
What are your main responsibilities at EER Middle East? I work with a variety of clients and oversee the relocation of assignees into the UAE.
What are your top tips for prospective assignees? Try to do as much research as you can on the market to manage your expectations and trust that we will always look out for you and your best interests.
What should people know about the EER Middle East Relocation Team? I think one of the best things about the team is our breadth of knowledge, which is so useful for clients.
What do you like to do in your spare time Erica? I am someone who loves to be organised and my favourite hobbies are cooking, travelling, photography and interior design.
Next up is Debra Notman, Client Account Manager
What are your top tips for prospective assignees? As useful as new colleagues can be about your new home, our team have extensive experience specifically with relocations so we can give you more accurate advice that will ease the process for you and your family.
What should people know about the EER Middle East Relocation Team? We are a diverse group from many different countries and speak many languages, so we are really able to relate to our assignees and we make sure to always be there to assist each other.
What might people not know about you? I am very passionate about the conservation of whales and dolphins and I have travelled as far as Hawaii to see humpbacks and dolphins in the wild
Rached Bejjani is one of our Client Account Managers who is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
What are your main responsibilities at EER Middle East? I am responsible for assisting individuals and families with their relocation to Saudi Arabia. I provide advice and guidance on the various aspects of the relocation process including finding suitable housing, navigating local laws and arranging schools and childcare.
What are your top tips for prospective assignees? I draw on my own experience as an expatriate so that I can give those relocating up-to-date and relevant information.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I love to work out and go on desert hikes with my dog, I also speak four languages Arabic, English, Russian and French and I am learning two more!
Our Administrative Consultant Elham Althaqafi is also based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:
What are your main responsibilities at EER Middle East? I provide advice, information and recommendations to clients. I use my experience to help resolve challenges and guide them on various business aspects in order to drive success.
What should people know about the EER Middle East Relocation Team? Our team is very professional and dedicated to exchanging opinions and ideas to provide the best levels of customer service.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I love to learn new languages (currently working on Korean – Japanese) and reading – I just finished The Forty Rules of Love which I highly recommend!
Finally, lets meet our Relocation Team Leader, Janice Trinidad:
What are your main responsibilities at EER Middle East? They include managing client engagements, presenting our services to potential clients, overseeing supplier relationships and managing day to day operational issues or addressing customer escalations. I take a comprehensive approach, overseeing operations and nurturing client relationships from bottom to top to ensure that we consistently meet our objectives and deliver exceptional results. I make sure I am present in every corner of the business.
What should people know about the EER Middle East Relocation Team? I am so proud of our team and the wealth of industry knowledge and expertise we bring to our work. Everyone is extremely reliable and unfazed by market changes, so we have an excellent track record of helping hundreds of expatriates settle smoothly into their new city.
What are your top tips for prospective assignees? The main thing to grasp is that your new home might be a little different than you expect. Understanding and appreciating the cultural differences will ease your transition into a new city.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I love to stay active and on the weekends you can usually find me running, swimming or doing yoga.
