We are very pleased to welcome our new Client Services Director Daniel Dronsfield to the EER Middle East team. He is already hard at work assisting clients with our range of corporate services in the UAE and KSA so we thought we would take a moment to sit down with him and get to know a little bit about his background, what he hopes to accomplish in his role and his new favourite restaurant!
Hello Daniel! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what you were up to before joining EER Middle East?
I have actually worked in the corporate service industry in the Middle East for four years, assisting clients in a variety of sectors. Providing support that enables a business to grow and expand in the region is a big passion of mine and I am extremely proud to say that I have helped over 300 companies establish across the UAE and KSA. Before this I had previous roles in England working for British Airways and in the financial services sector.
And what will your new role at EER Middle East entail?
As the Client Services Director, my main responsibilities will be advising clients on how best to establish and expand their business in the region. I will be assisting companies both in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, both with their initial requirements and ongoing support as needed for years to come.
What skills or previous experiences of yours will be most valuable in this new role?
Having advised over 300 companies through the set up process in this region, I have an in-depth knowledge of the corporate services landscape and how to tailor necessary procedures to each client and maximise efficiency wherever possible. Setting up a business can be a very daunting time, so it is also important to be approachable at all times with your clients and to communicate information clearly and concisely.
What appealed to you most about joining EER Middle East?
EER Middle East has a great reputation in the industry, which certainly stood out to me. The launch of their Saudi office also highlighted their commitment to growth and underlined their willingness to expand their services to suit the needs of existing and new clients. I was most excited by the opportunity to learn from a business that has been operating in this market for 20 years and to see how my knowledge could further assist their ambitious expansion plans.
Do you have an overall objective you are focused on?
I hope to continue to build on EER Middle East’s fantastic reputation as the best and most trusted corporate service provider in the region.
What would you like prospective clients to know about you and EER Middle East?
That they will be my priority. I believe it is vital to listen carefully to clients and what their specific needs are, so you can provide bespoke solutions that are most appropriate to them. My overarching principle is to always do the right thing by my clients, so they know they can always rely on me. EER Middle East has the same approach, where everything is aimed at supporting our clients. Their track record in the region is unrivalled and with that experience comes a level of expertise and knowledge you can’t find anywhere else.
Although you are spending a lot of time in Saudi, your home is in the UAE – what do you like most about being an expat living in Dubai?
The great thing about living in the UAE is that you can pretty much take part in any activity you like. I love to go to Fujairah and dive the reefs and wrecks. I also love to go to nice restaurants, my current favourite is City Social by Jason Atherton in the Grosvenor.
What else do you get up to in your free time?
I’m a big rugby fan – both watching and playing! I also like to go fishing, cooking and spending days out at the Polo Club with my partner.
Where else in the world would you like to be an expat?
It is a long way off, but I’ve always had a small dream that I would retire to a small seaside town in the Mediterranean. Perhaps France or Italy, where I could run a little restaurant serving up fresh fish I’d caught in the morning!
