Middle East Relocation Expansion: Meet Our New Team Leader

23 June 2023

For anyone who follows our EER blog, you will be aware that the Middle East relocation industry is currently undergoing a period of rapid growth, particularly in top markets like the UAE and Saudi Arabia. In order to make sure we can cater to the needs of all of our clients, we have already expanded our regional presence to include KSA and now we are delighted to introduce you to our new Relocation Team Leader, Janice Trinidad. Joining us from Singapore, she comes with a wealth of international experience in talent mobility and relocation services. We sat down with her to find out more about what we can expect from her unique leadership approach.

Middle East Relocation

Hi Janice, thank you for chatting to us.  Can you share what first interested you about the role at EER?

I think the main aspect that captured my attention was the company’s drive to become the region’s leading partner in relocation services. Their dedication to re-designing the client experience immediately resonated with me.  I was excited to work with visionary leaders who shared my desire to build a progressive and ambitious team that could make a real impact in the Middle East relocation landscape.

What do you see as your main goals for the relocation team?

My priority will be to foster an environment wherein the team can embrace the mission set out by Marie and Aideen.  I want to work closely with the team to implement innovative strategies and processes that enhance the client experience, improve operational efficiency and elevate EER as a brand in the relocation space.  By consistently exceeding the expectations of our clients and partners, we can cement and expand our position as the go-to name for Middle East relocation services.

How will your skills impact the day-to-day performance of the relocation team?

There are many intricacies in the world of global mobility and I aim to utilise my knowledge in the cultural considerations and logistical challenges of international relocations to navigate these complexities seamlessly.  I can also offer a higher level of strategic foresight to ensure the team stays ahead of emerging trends and upcoming challenges in the industry. By proactively addressing potential issues and developing effective strategies, I can provide our clients with relevant information for critical decisions. This approach not only strengthens our client relationships but also ensures consistent delivery of excellent service.  Lastly, I plan on empowering and inspiring the team to promote a culture of continuous improvement, that will directly translate into enhanced client satisfaction.

What insights can you offer on the relocation industry and its future direction?

With the rise of hybrid and remote work models, organisations are prioritising flexibility and talent retention strategies.  To enable companies to secure the necessary talent, they need to work with experienced relocation providers who can offer reliable, cost-effective solutions.  The future focus of the industry will be on technological integration, employee well-being, compliance management and adaptability.  By ensuring that we are on the cutting-edge of those elements, EER will be well-placed to cater to the uniquely high relocation demands of the Middle East region.

What would you most like potential EER clients and partners to know about you?

As the head of the relocation department, my role will be to reimagine the Middle East relocation experience, ensuring that all of our clients can attract, retain and engage the talent they need effectively. I will leverage data and market research to anticipate trends and offer flexible, tailored solutions for each individual client, ensuring that transparency and communication are at the forefront of what we do.  EER is a unique company, with trailblazing leaders, who set the tone for exceptional service and continuous improvement; I will be echoing those sentiments for each of our relocation clients.

Lastly, can you tell us something about yourself that not many people know?

Most of my down time is pretty typical, I love to be active and I enjoy cooking delicious meals, but I have also been known to swim with whale sharks in the open sea.  This was a huge dream of mine and I would definitely like to do it again!
