Officially named the State of Kuwait, this evolving nation is situated on the northern edge of Eastern Arabia at the tip of the Persian Gulf.  With borders to Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Iran (maritime), Kuwait is a connected emirate with a National Assembly that governs the population of nearly 4.5 million people.  Despite being one of the smallest countries in the world in terms of land area, Kuwait boasts ten islands, the largest of which Bubiyan is connected to the mainland via a 2,380 metre long bridge, a 310 mile coastline and a bustling capital, Kuwait City, which is home to over 3 million residents.     Here is our snapshot into life in Kuwait for those considering a move to one of the founding members of the GCC….
