EER Meet the Team: Corporate Services

Corporate Services is a huge part of what we do at EER and one of our most in-demand service divisions, especially in the dynamic environment of the UAE.  Our dedicated and expert team handle the requirements of a diverse range of clients, on both a project and long-term retainer basis, every single day.  So we thought it would be a good idea for you to get to know the faces behind the team a little bit better……

Corporate Services: All About Us!

First up in the corporate services team is Dimple Torralba, the Team Leader:

What is your role at EER?  I am lucky enough to manage the Corporate Services Team

What do you like to do in your spare time?  I love making jewellery, I’m a big fan of jigsaw puzzles and I used to be part of an off road driving club that meant I got to drive some of the best sand dunes in the UAE.

What would you like people to know about the EER Corporate Services Team?  We are passionate, dedicated and committed to doing the best for our clients.  We also like to work hard and sing harder (we LOVE a karaoke night out!).

Then we met Client Relationship Manager Nadine Daoud…..

What are your main responsibilities at EER?  I have plenty of variety in my day.  I am responsible for managing the needs of a range of clients which often involves handling key administrative and compliance requirements, entity set-ups, account coordination and updating deadlines for submissions and regulatory obligations.

What do you like to do in your spare time?  Bake.  I make the best brownies ever – just ask the rest of the team!

What would you like people to know about the EER Corporate Services Team?  I love the team spirit we have.  The entire team is so knowledgeable and always ready to help or offer advice.

Next up was Client Relationship Manager Andreea Daescu…..

What are your main responsibilities at EER?  When it comes to the day to day, it is my job to ensure our clients have everything they need and that they are up to date with all the essential elements of running, sustaining and growing a business in the UAE.  My work will include liaising with relevant authorities, drafting submission applications for new set ups, arranging certifications, conducting company health checks, drafting board documents and managing account opening, office leasing, company amendments and visa requirements.

What do you like to do in your spare time?  I absolutely love to dance Bachata, a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic.

What would you like people to know about the EER Corporate Services Team?  We are such a fun team.  It is amazing how much of a difference that makes to what we are able to do, the more we connect with each other and enjoy our work, the more we are able to do for our clients.

What are your main responsibilities at EER?  I am primarily responsible for supporting the Client Relationship Managers in order to help our clients, particularly in regards to obtaining relevant information from different authorities across the mainland and freezones.

What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy going for walks and watching good movies.

What would you like people to know about the EER Corporate Services Team?  The versatility of the team is very impressive, there is so much knowledge, diversity and experience here – which is why we can be such a useful resource for our clients, particularly those who require our retainer services.

We then spoke to Joelle Niven, Client Relationship Manager…..

What are your main responsibilities at EER?  I spend much of my time advising clients on new company set ups, addressing their questions and facilitating the journey towards operational functionality.  This involves a wide variety of aspects including ensuring annual obligations are met and no deadlines are missed.  I the dedicated point of contact for our clients when it comes to their company administration needs, so I need to be very organised and up to date on all the relevant regulations.

What do you like to do in your spare time?  I’m quite the fitness fanatic, so I spend most of my time doing weightlifting or crossfit.

What would you like people to know about the EER Corporate Services Team?  The most important thing for clients to know is what we can do for them.  We focus on alleviating their stress by providing solutions and answers that allow them to focus on their business.

Next up was Corporate Services Administrator Ervy Co….

What are your main responsibilities at EER?  My role is to provide support to the Client Relationship Managers and assist with all the back office work.

What do you like to do in your spare time?  As a first-time mom, I love watching “Mom hacks” and am trying to study things that will help me raise my son better.

What would you like people to know about the EER Corporate Services Team?  Our clients know that they can rely on our team 100%.  That is one of the reasons why I am so proud to be a part of what we do.

Ana Simborio is one of the team’s Client Relationship Managers…..

What are your main responsibilities at EER?  I handle everything to do with the set-up, renewal and amendments for companies in the UAE.

What do you like to do in your spare time?  Not enough!  I am on the look out for some new hobbies – anyone have some suggestions?

What would you like people to know about the EER Corporate Services Team?  I love the diversity of our team.  We all have so much to offer and having such a range of experience and knowledge is so helpful when it comes to servicing our clients.

Next we met Bernard De Guzman, Client Relationship Manager…..

What are your main responsibilities at EER?  My focus is on VVIP client management and company portfolio management.  My day to day will often involve conducting corporate health checks, compliance review and risk assessment, accounts receivable follow ups and company set ups.

What is an interesting fact you would like to share?  I used to be a pro-wrestler (think WWF/WWE style) for four years!

What would you like people to know about the EER Corporate Services Team?  This team is my second family and it is amazing to be part of a group that is so friendly, fun, caring and helpful to each other.

Finally it was the turn of Oksana Sukhar, Business Development Manager….

What are your main responsibilities at EER?  My expertise is in business development, so I am responsible for the sales strategy and implementation for the corporate services team.

What is an interesting fact you would like to share?  I love to travel, work out, read and visit the beach.

What would you like people to know about the EER Corporate Services Team?  Mainly that this is the best resource for people who are looking to start or expand their business in Dubai and the UAE.  They won’t find a more dedicated, professional or knowledgeable team ready to help them with everything they need.
