At EER we know that how we communicate with our audience isn’t just about service education or promotion, it is about telling the story of our brand. We want to take you inside the workings of our organisation, so you can get a sense of who we are. One of the ways we can do that is to share with you the elements that make us unique and the principles that guide our strategic vision. To start this series, we wanted to talk to you about a fundamental aspect of our vision, collaboration. How we have utilised it, what it can do and why it is so important, now more than ever.
Inspiring Connections
Collaboration is one of the most powerful tools a business can utilise to improve performance. The out-dated concept of secrecy and fear of the competition is quickly becoming overtaking by a new more inclusive approach. The reality is that collaboration across industries, networks and within your sector can have hugely positive and lasting results. The opportunity to share information and experiences can help us tailor new approaches that foster growth and fuel productivity. In today’s market place, organisations that don’t believe they have something to learn are quite literally stifling their potential. It is hard to deny the benefits of internal collaboration. When our teams work more effectively together, brainstorm ideas and learn from each other, the company benefits hugely. Why shouldn’t that also be true of external collaborations? There are a host of key elements that underline why collaboration can be so transformative:
Current Realities
Our understanding of the role collaboration can play in our organisation has never been more evident than during the last few months. 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone. All around the world individuals, families and organisations have had to find ways to survive an onslaught of obstacles and challenges. Even companies that have seen a spike in demand have had to work out how best to accommodate such rapid growth so that they don’t let people down. At EER we have found our ability to draw on the experiences and resources of others invaluable in weathering the storm. By reaching out and connecting to industry players, partners and even competitors we have been able to share vital information, swap tips and discuss strategies that not only aid our own organisations, but the industry as a whole. But we have also found that you don’t have to limit yourself to your specific sector. A good idea, useful advice or cautionary tale can come from any place or person and could have a crucial lesson that can be adapted to your situation. By connecting with a range of people across our network we have been able to give and receive guidance that has helped to lift us all up and provide a more stable footing to our business continuity plan.
A Helping Hand
Since we believe so strongly in infusing our principles into our actions, we thought this would be a great chance to introduce our network to a few new names. These companies and individuals are people who we have worked with, known or wish to support in their efforts to grow and develop. Over the next few weeks, we will be showcasing their work in a series of posts and offering exclusive discounts on their services for our loyal followers and clients. Stay tuned to our social media channels to hear about some new faces that you will definitely want to check out!
Remember, the more we work together, the more we can accomplish!
