The Warner Brothers World Theme Park is expected to open by 2018, top officials in the capital revealed on Tuesday.
In a partnership with the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority and Miral, the $1bn project will feature a range of famous Warner Brothers characters and is expected to create around 1,000 new jobs in the emirate.
“Around 30 per cent of the project has been completed. All agreements have been signed amd rides have been ordered,” said Mohammad Abdullah Al Zaabi, CEO of Miral at the announcement.
